There are different methods and techniques that are being employed for the installation of wordpress plugin but the most commonly three methods are utilized. First method is quite easy and requires fewer server setup is named as automatically plug in through WordPress. Second method requires manual uploading of a plug-in through WordPress. Some more setups in server in comparison with automatically plugin. Third method is known isĀ  needs manual uploadingĀ  of a plug-in via FTP and it is very difficult and complicated than that of first and second method and usually there is no set up requirement in server for this method.

The following steps you need to take in order to install WordPress plugin to your computer. First, you have to download the latest version of WordPress plugin to your PC. Secondly, try your best to access the main server of your site this is only possible with the help of FTP program. Thirdly upload or copy selected plug-in file to wp-content of plugin folder. Fourthly, go to WordPress Administration Panel and then click on Plugin from the list of menu that is present on the top of the page. Fifthly, you have to see whether the new plugin is present in the existing list of plugin folder or not .If the plugin is not enlisted then you must check the folder with the help of FTP program. You need to upload the plugin file again in case it is not present in the specified list. Lastly to work with WordPress easily you must activate it by clicking on the right side of the list and afterward have a look on the administrative panel to know whether the newly installed WordPress plugin or not. You may make necessary configuration or settings to WordPress plugin from time to time to get the benefit of different application.
