The thing about WordPress is that installing and removing plugins can be done in less than 5 minutes. This means that new plugins can be tested out easily and without much hassle. New plugins are often fun to play with and some of these are very powerful as well.

Word of the Day – This is nothing more than a plugin which shows the Word of the Day which is taken from Dictionary.com. Word geeks can definitely check this plugin out. Learn new words every day. Words that half of the population do not know of.

AtmaLinks for WordPress – This is apparently an official plugin for AtmaLinks which is a website that is a favorite amongst many affiliate marketers. Atmalinks signs itself with a lot of affiliate networking websites on which the user do not have to go through. If a purchase is made by the visitors, then the user of the Atmalinks will get a share of the cut.

Paypal Donation Widget – Some people are very lazy to check in the donation code from Paypal and integrate it to their website. Well, with this widget, it is made easier. Just key in the Paypal email address and wait for some donators to come by and sponsor.

The start of March 2010 comes a few new plugins and updates for the content management system, WordPress. A lot of these plugins are very trusted amongst the community and in fact, one of them was made by the people behind WordPress as well.

PuSHPress – A new method of subscribing called PubSubHubbub or PuSH for short was founded earlier. PuSH allows subscribers to get real-time updates for any WordPress websites that has PuSH support. PuSHPress is a plugin made by the WordPress theme.

Image Space Media – Image Space Media or ISM is one of the most popular providers of in-image advertising on the Internet. WordPress users that have an account with ISM can take advantage of this plugin so that there will be an unobtrusive integration with WordPress.

BuddyPress – This highly popular plugin for WordPress MU users is now available for WordPress users not using the Multi-user version of the software. BuddyPress creates a social networking layer for WordPress websites making it more interactive. The new version is called BuddyPress 1.2.

Easily Navigate Pages on Dashboard – This plugin creates a folder tree of the website inside the admin dashboard. It makes it a lot easier to check on various pages on the website through the admin dashboard.
